La Domaine de Roubignol was originally a wine master's house so the ground floor hall and dining room have a gently sloping stone floor - which can be a bit disconcerting after having sampled the excellent local Cahors wine. The dining room leads out onto the north terrace
The lights in the hall are brass lions that came from a French billiard table and were bought in Versailles. The dining table below will seat 14.
The kitchen has most modern appliances but the washing machine is out in a small cave-like room under the bolet (the covered verandah)
The black and white bedroom is very large and also has a door out onto the north terrace.
There is a WC, 2 handbasins and a really powerful shower on the ground floor.
The vaulted bedroom is divided into two small rooms each with a vaulted ceiling and a third small room with a hand basin; the french doors lead out onto the main terrace
